Written up after the call
Each of these comes out of a real fault on a real appliance. If one saves you a visit entirely, that is a good outcome and it costs you nothing.
- Viking Burner Clicks but Will Not Light: A Andover Walkthrough Clicking only proves the spark module fired — it says nothing about gas reaching the burner. Work out whether one burner or all of them are affected, then check cap seating, blocked ports and the electrode, in that order. 5 min Sinead MacAllister
- Viking Dishwasher Not Draining in Andover: Work Back From the Sump Standing water at the end of a cycle almost always means the drain path is obstructed rather than that the pump has died. Work backwards from the sump: the filter stack first, then the high loop, the air gap and the disposer knockout plug. 5 min Sinead MacAllister
- Viking Oven Door Locked After Self-Clean: A Andover Walkthrough The door stays locked until the control reads the cavity below a set temperature, so a long wait after the heat ends is normal rather than a fault. Check whether the display is still alive before suspecting the latch, and never force the door. 5 min Sinead MacAllister
